I run the Denton adjustable stick style and have no problems whats so ever.

You may need to just rebuild it.

I have a piston type and unless I set to the firmest setting it will still kick back pretty hard, and when I set it to the firm setting it is noticible harder to steer. so I am hopeing that using one of the fancier units with high and low speed settings will softin the feed back from hits but still allow easy steering. am I asking for too much or will the puck style provide what I am looking for ?? You will have to go to the puck style to get what you are looking for. I have had a precision since 06 and won't go back to a stick style. Don't get me wrong the stick style does a great job for the money.
