Hi,

Our LT80 seems to sputter during foggy/humid conditions. Under WOT, it will lift the wheels off the ground, hit mid range, fall flat on its face, and just sputter and run crappy. It has good compression, runs perfect during dry weather, carb is clean, etc. I don't see any spark arc running it on humid nights. Is this bike sensitive in the jetting department? Could it be running too lean with the humidity? It's a '92. Spark is bright blue on humid nights. Any help or input is appreciated!

take the needle out of the sllide and move the circlip on it up a notch to lower the needle into the mainjet so it lets less gas through.. It has too much liquid in the engine from the humidity

Thanks for the reply. I fiddled last week and actually did the following: LEANED out the mixture by adjusting the needle clip up a slot and cleaned/regapped the plug. That seemed to do the trick as the bike runs decent in all weather now. Take care.
