honda frame paints

ok guys i know PJ1 has frame paint for the 400ex silver i think P/N 53-6124 but its hard to even find PJ1 locally, does anybody else have an experience with a similar paint color made by a different company? i have a 02 400ex i think its the darker silver shade. thanks guys

I've been looking for Honda red as well - can't find it. I'm going to take the plastic to an automotive paint store and have them mix it. I can't find a big enough sample of a red metal part. I'm going to strip it, epoxy prime, and spray with a single stage auto paint. I think this will all be much cheaper than powder coating.

BTW - I used Rustoleum color Sunrise Red and it looks good, but is not the same color - too bright. I painted a 300ex frame this color after priming.

im going to try and remove my front bumper from my quad and see if i can go to a store and try and color match the thing
