Sell the warrior and buy a 450 if you want to be competitive lol.

Just kidding, If you're really into the warrior, I'd leave it stock for now and enter a few races then dial it in. You'll need Nerf Bars and a Killswitch to start racing. If you're looking into racing harescrambles, look at the AGP series. We race in south jersey and pa mostly and it's a really fun series.

I started on a blaster, i wish i wouldnt have spent a dime on that and saved it for my 450, i say upgrade to a 400 or 450 that has some nerfs, throw on a tether and start hitting up some tracks. When you are comfortable enter the race.

i dont really know what to tell you about fixing up a warrior to race, IMO there not really a "race" type bike but anything is possible. just to give you a idea, i payed $1500 for my 03 400ex with all of the mods listed on it.

save yourself the time money an effort and get a 450. the 04 450r's are selling between 1800-3000 around here so find yourself one of them, throw some nerfs and a thether and hit some tracks that have open practice nights. if mx racingisnt your thing then try some gncc's.

Then you'd have decent power and not much suspension. I would suggest sspension before motor work. You can have all the power in the world but if your bike can't handle it it's still slow.

if your gunna bore out a warrior then your crazy. yoju can just sell the wariior and take the money o have and get a nice stock or near stock 450. and all youd need is nerfs and a killswitch.

adjustable shocks good power and it will be alot nicer all around.

that or get a 400ex and make it REAL nice with shocks and everything

Agreed XCpred... And I think it wouldn't be worth putting the money into a big bore kit... As others said, you would be better off selling the warrior and put the money towards a new quad.... 400ex, z400, or any of the 450's. 400ex's go for rediculously cheep with alot of mods included.

The first thing you should decide, is what kind of racing you want to do. If you really didn't wanna sell off the warrior, you could still be competitive in a harescramble race.... If you want to start running the MX track, i'd forget about the warrior. But if you do keep the warrior, I wouldn't bother dumping to much money into it. That money could be spent much better going towards a newer atv.

my brother in law was rocking the warrior for awhile and was trying to make it a mx machine but that machine hates being off the ground. they are heavy, especially in the front. power is pretty sluggish. but if you got 2g's to spend go buy a 400ex then sell the warrior and use that money to get yourself an exhaust and suspension parts. i promise once you do you wont regret it.
