View Full Version : My sister got cornholed!!! On her 250!

So my sister and her husband bought the same exact bikes that me and my wife bought. 2007 TRX250ex's. She just took them in for the first service and paid 240bucks per!!!!

What? No chain to stretch or service......oil, but no filter....what the heck?? Anyone have similar horror stories????

they probably screwed them over because of the valves.

Why do you think it's because of the valves? Is there something I should know?

they may have charged them because they could have a high flat rate for valve adjustments. they just do the expensive stuff to get a lot of money out of people sometimes w/ out their consent.

I live in Yuma, AZ. My sister is in San Diego, CA. I just emailed her and asked her to scan the invoice and email it to me. So as soon as I get it.....you guys will see it.

Very typical. It's a dealer....what do you expect?

Either tell them to do their own work (oil changes are almost impossible to screw up on the 250), or to find a better shop. There HAS to be a decent shop in the greater San Diego area, my mother happens to be from the area and talks about Pismo all the time.
