ya i cased a step off pretty bad its a 4th gear jump, but i over shot a little sky single when it actaully went, i didnt get hurt just racked my boys :-/ ya its a fox iim hoping they will cover most of it seeing how its justa bout brand new only has 7 or 8 rides on it, the only other thing that i seen was messed up was the air box i was pretty ticked and didnt really check over much more haha

wow that sucks! must have hurt! my friend blew a fox rear shock on his ltr twice and they helped him out. But he had it set up for a 200 lbs pro am rider and he was a 140lbs intermediate rider. So idk why it blew so quickly

Did you walk out there and find your spring that went flying out of that thing?

A really long time ago I seen that happen to a dude at a track he was landing from a double and somthing broke and another double was right in front of him when he landed and he managed to hit the double and landed with no crash.

I had a my rear Elka shock fall apart as I was just going off a double. Landed short and came down on the frame so hard that I bruised both feet from the tips of my toes all the way up past my ankles.

When my rebuilt shock that I paid for came back from Elka, it had a lock ring on it to keep the threaded portion from just unscrewing from the top cap.

Glad to hear you didn't get hurt. See, you should have gone to NCMP instead. :D

jon if i woulda made the 2 n half hour trip to ncmp it woulda just been more of a disappointment to have to drive back knowing it blew and i wasted all the gas to not do much riding haha you gonna be there for the race on the 3rd? hope to have my shock back

I will be there if my quad stays together for one more riding day at NCMP. I meant it sounded like you cased something pretty hard that might have led to the failure...maybe if you were at NCMP that wouldn't have happened at all. :p

You sending your shock out today? If so, I would think you stand a pretty good chance of getting it back in time.

now that i actually look at it, u sure something else didnt break? if the shock blew out it would still have normal ride height, the spring is what holds the quad up and supports the weight? maybe linkage?
