It is where you bind the AP link together.
Search bog and you will find it.

I have never heard of "binding the AP link together".

I believe what your referring to is putting an adjustable fuel screw in the carb. Zip Ty racing was the first to come out with the product.

BTW..... I've tried just about all brands of this product, and our origional Zip Ty one is hands down the best and most durable.

Zip tie, safety wire, o-ring.....I have heard many ways to do it. It just makes sure the AP linkage is bound together.

anyone actually tried this from this site?

I have an 06 with cam mod, full alba exhaust, prow flow k&N, rejetted with a 168 main, 45pilot, needle on 2nd or 3rd clip now (cant remember), and pump cover, but i still have a little bog... runs better than before I messed with my jetting for days...but i have just learned to adjust my riding and throttle control.

plug is nice and tan like it should be, but my header glows for about 6-7 inches. I just thought maybe alba's head pipe was thinner....

I've done the mod but I got rid of all my bog with putting the ncvq needle out of a 2004 yz450f dirtbike. Put the clip in the middle i think the 4th position down and you should be good. You need to richen your needle up.

so when you put this o-ring or zip tie on this, what exactly is it doing versus not having the o-ring holding them together?? does this "mod" having anything to do with a problem i am having that happens something like this---i blip the throttle and it's like the motor is trying to catch up with itself and is reving high and then as a few seconds go by it will finally ease down slowly on the high rev...what would cause that? is something in the carb stuck?

Did you clean your carb with the spray type carb cleaner?

Yes, it is the infamous "bog" It can be completely jetted out, just takes some fine tuning.

I don't know if you are a member of central or not, but check these out.

no i didn't use any spray carb cleaner...i haven't done anything to the carb besides jet it...it just seems to have the high rev that sticks during idle and when pulling in the clutch and coasting during riding when i blip the throttle...
