300EX wont start??

A few weeks ago I was riding my 300ex down a dirt road and it started to cut out a bit but kept running, and later I shut it off and it hasn't started since. I'm not getting any power at the start button, and when I cross it at the selinoid it doesn't produce spark from the coil. I've attempted to fix it by getting a used cdi and kill switch assembly off ebay, but after replacing, the problem still occurs. Does anyone have a clue? Thanks

there might be a short in your harness or your stator is messed up. check the grounds and if any wires are bare. then, you might want a new stator. make sure the battery is fully charged before you really tear into anything though. you may want a service manual if you are dealing with electrical problems.
