lol here is my 75$ helmet from fox, with no visor(due to a crach at live oak florida, fixed it, glued it back together, then got landed on at sunshine mx and was to disorientated to find the pieces)

This is a Honda of Troy Moto 6, they're my favorite helmet. This one is brand new, it's been sitting in my closet for about ten years. I have another one exactly like it that I wear on regular basis, along with a silver Moto 6 Volcano and a Showtime II Moto 6.

This is something your flaunting on here? i think its stupid as hell. you have a nice bike but you cant drop a few hundred on a nice helmet? what kinda good is that nice bike gunna do yah when your head is splayed out on the track?

just my opinion, but your helmet is something you dont bargain shop for.

My force I've had since july. Not really happy with it. The liner and cheek pad snaps are falling apart. Thankfully the PU rep got me a new liner from thor.

My old 661 that did it's job. The phone didn't pick up all of the starring in the fiberglass. A lot of the foam is crushed on the inside as well.

my brothers brke in the same place. maybe a good weak spot? if it wouldnt have broke he would have smashed every bone in his face. or his neck which would be even worst. Great helmets.

I'm guessing I landed chin first. The helmet did as it was designed. It took to force away from me. The rest of the helmet has starring all through the gel coating. That along with my leatt potentially saved my mobility. I did however sustain two broken vertebrae and five compressed discs in the accident. Sixsixone is probably my favorite gear company as well. I needed a new helmet to race after my accident and all they had in stock that I liked was the thor force. I think I liked the fit and feel better of my 661, but I did try on a new force and they changed the inside of them a little bit.

Here were my goggles from the crash. Bike was fine. It did two complete flips over me and landed on the wheels.

This is why I am an advocate of good mx gear. I feel the use of cheaper gear may have exacerbated my injuries. The doctor's said the way my breaks were progressing up my back, it is very possible that the leatt saved me from a neck and/or spinal cord injury. I never got to see my Xrays though. I'll have to pull them in medical records the next time I work.
