Race Tech just came out with their suspensions for the Outlaw. They worked with CT a little and now they have all the quirks worked out I guess. I spoke with someone from C and D racing and they said that the Race Tech Suspension is awesome on the Outlaw. Check it out.

Also what is the pros/cons of Piggybacks or remote Ressies?

A quote from their website.

"We guarantee you'll love it and we guarantee it will be better than anything else, period."

Then search though for the outlaws. They are anywhere from $2000.00 to $3000.00 depending on piggybacks/ rezzies/adjustments ect.

That price is front and rear.

You can have res added to the Fox Shocks. Some polaris dealers still have them.

We can add rezzies to any of the Fox shocks used on the outlaws. We have remote and piggy back options depending opn models

I don't have the Fox Shocks. I have the Ryde FX and they are junk.

I am saving my pennies for the Race Tech. Probably Remote Rezzies if I can figure how they mount them.

I've been kinda happy with the Ryde FX shocks as far as stock shocks go.

I was considering having them rebuilt but maybe I should just spend the money and get some decent aftermarket shocks.

Colby, Do you all work on the Ryde Shocks? any opinion from your point of view?

It looks to me that it costs the same if not more than the race tech suspension. $1500 for the front and $1500 for the rear.

I had my Ryde FX revalved/resprung and am more than happy with them. It cost me $700 to have Wilson Racing completely go through them. They do not have ressies but I did not have a problem with them fading in the races this year. They are aluminum bodied which is supposed to help dissipate the heat.

It is an option to save a large amount of $$$ and still have a vast improvement over stock.

Hey Suprdatvn,

Where did you get your shocks from and how happy are you with them?

suprdavtn

elka, the guy i talked to was yan. yes would be an understatement as to me liking them. they have some specials on clearance if you can find them on ebay and craigs
half what i paid. i didnt know that shocks coulld make that much difference on how long or how fast you can ride. you will need to get hole shot hds or you will drive the side walls off the razrs with the shocks.

sheriff525

What do you mean I will drive the sidewalls off the Razr. I was hoping to get a set of hipers with razr2 on all 4 corners. It is not for sure yet...will that work?

It does so much better than stock. It now has triple rate springs, which really helps on the small hits also. Before the revalve, the butt end would swap out something fierce. Now I can pretty much go full throttle over them and it will skip accross them. But if I go slower on the whoops, where I let the back end fall down in them it will start to buck some, but I think you will find that with almost all shocks.

I think the biggest difference between the shock brands is how good the builder valves them for you, your weight and style of ride you expect. I would talk to some of the experienced builders such as Colby that has experience with the Polaris setup.

I have also been told that the type of oil and weight they use can make a big difference in the shocks and their fade. Maybe some of the experienced shock builders can chime in on this.
