looking at a used z400

I found a 2006 z400 for sale locally. He is asking $1850, seems to be good to be true to me. Says that it has been taken care of and there is nothing wrong with it and has title in hand.

Am I off and this is a reasonable price?

What types of things should I look for?

Well, that does seem kinda cheap,but the economy has taken a dive.So it might be legit.

thats a steal, I just paid $2500 for mine, granted it was barley used and in great shape, but damn i would have loved to got that kind of deal, specially knowing after paying for the bike i ended up putting another $800 in aftermarket stuff, id say check it out real good and scoop it up.

hopefully it will be as he describes. I am hopefully going to see it tomorrow sometime. Going to take a friend with me as well. Any common problems with these quads I should check out?

look for the normal stuff like cracks in the frame, bends, engine case not busted from chain.

Sounds like a killer deal. Just check it over good and be sure to test ride it.

When you test drive it dont be afraid to drive it into the ground thats the only way you will find out if the clutch is strong and that the engine still is strong.
