Going to be rejetting my 03 Z with stock carb in the near future and I am trying to decide on which brands of jets I should purchase. Other than the different brands having different sizes based on the numbering are any one brand better or more recommended than another?

I am leaning towards the Mikuni right now just because that is the brand of the carb...

I will installing a full yosh RS-3 and EHS lid with Uni Filter. I am thinking about starting with 155 and 25 Mikunis. Sound about right?

IMO, I think your best off with the Mikuni jets. Its a Mikuni carb,so there shouldn't be an issue. I was running 155/25 with UNI filter and K&N power lid. With a HMF s/o. Thats at 825 ft elevation.

You might try a 160 main since your running a full exhaust , but I don't know your elevation.

Thanks for the info guys. I ordered some mikuni jets from my local dealer. 155 and 160 mains along with a 25 pilot. I installed my full yosh last night and it is super lean. I couldn't even keep it running. It would idle but as soon as I touched the throttle it would backfire and die. As soon as I get the jets I am gonna try re-jetting for the first time...
