oil in with the stator???

ok my quad isn't charging so i bought a new stator took the cover off and it had oil in there, i didn't think this was right...am i right

yes there is supposed to be oil in there.

ok i never had a 4 stroke apart before my lt250r the seal went and let oil in there and wasnt surppose to be there so i wasn't sure thanks
