Ok guys hope you can help me to decide, couse i'm having a hard time to decide if i should haul my 450R or i should i just sell it and buy another one, i'm moving from Tracy, California to Faifax, Virginia, and i have a toyota corolla so i was thinking of installing a hitch mount on the car and get a small trailer, sinse i'm sellin my truck(can't keep both cars), so if anybody has an advise that would be great, thanks!

why not ship it to where you are moving to, by the time you buy a hitch and trailer would probably pay the shipping. your bike is your bike, you have to decide whether or not you want to let it go, me personally i think every bike has it own attitude, they are all differant and have their own characteristics, will you miss it? will the next one you buy be as good?

I would say if it's gonna cost about the same to ship or buy a trailor/ hitch go with the trailor route. If you pay $600 (just picked some random numbers) to have it shipped you'll get to VA and have your bike, or $800 for the hauling setup, when you get to VA you'll have your bike and the trailor and stuff, which you could keep or sell to get some money back. It would definantly be worth pricing both and evaluating what fits best. Good luck.

If it was me I would want to keep my own quad. You know where it's been and how it's been taken care of.

If you trailer it, there is a chance it could get stolen along the way. I would ship it.

I agree ship it would be my option also, Build yourself a nice crate put it in there and ship it regular ground freight.

Good thinking. Didnt think about having to stop for sleep, etc. Might not be a bad idea to ship afterall. Man that would suck soooooo bad!!!!!
