i ran +2;'s last season in the tight new york woods with a 3+2 off set rim. that was a tad wide around 48 at full sag i now have 4+1 shamrocks and am going out to put them on and see what they measure. +2s if you have or planning on 4+1s id say

I used to ride at this place with stock arms and thought it was tjght in some places, but I just put +2's on andlowered it 3". When I went to that place to ride last weekend, I didn't even notice the extra width at all. But it handles a lot better.

something i learned is HiPer wheels that are 4:1 are almost the exact same as stock they are about 3.5:1.5 so they are not a true 4:1. with a true 4:1 +2 a-arms the front only becomes about 46" wide at 12" up. Since the a-arms lower it, its more like 47" The stock rear is like 45.5"

Hipers are 5" wide and stock rims are 5.5" wide though. But you are right the offset is almost the same as stock

I have +1 Houser arms with 4+1 Hipers and I am about 46" wide. Perfect fit in tight woods here in PA

I'd go with +1. Houser has some +1's for the EX that they say are on clearance for $850. There on my list to get but not for a while.

Id get +1 Walsh or Lonestar A-Arms and a +1 1/4 Walsh or Lonestar Swingarm, u wouldn't be disapointed with either one:macho

I run IShock +2 arms with DWT Rock N Lock front wheels with a 4+1 Offset. I am at 47" With stock offset wheels and stock arms I was at 46" at ride height.

Most of the guys I see at the harescrambles I ride are running +2 with a 4+1 wheel. It seem s to be a pretty good width for the the pa state series. I think most guys say 46-47" is the best # to shoot for. My friend was at 48 on his yfz and he said it was just a bit to wide for his liking. there are more options of +2 a arms too so you can buy a less expensive set.

Stock EX frontend is about 45 inches with stock wheels. +2 means close to 48 and +1 is closer to 46 inches. Of course 4:1 offset means your an inch less overall and better scrub radius.
