The outer CV joint is supposed to come off relatively easy according to the service manual. Pull the boot back, remove the snap ring and viola, it's off.
My quad doesn't have the indent where the snap ring tool can get in and get at it like in the pictures in the manual. In fact, the bearing sleeve, or whatever it's called that slides onto the axle is really tight and no snap ring is visible. Has anyone dealt with this issue? Am I missing something? Is 06 different than the 07?
Should I get a hammer and hope for the best? :confused:
