300ex TOP END on 250x BOTTOM END

from what i hear.... basically everything i hear for the 300ex parts are compatible with the 250x
i destroyed my stock 300ex bottom end and was checking to see if a 250x bottom end will be compatible with my 300ex topend... the top end is also bored out .30 over. will the motor mounts match up and will my top end be compatible with a 250x bottom end?

Ive heard the same but you will lose electric start if you use a 250x bottom end

yea, i know i'd lose the electric start. not worried about that at all. im wondering if the specs, and if everything will bolt right up.

Everything will bolt up. But as you already know, you will have to kick start.

cool cool.... now wat about the head gasket? my top end is bored 30 over.... does it make a difference?
and since i will be using the 250x bottom end, should i re-jet my carb to a different spec?
