that 450 is pretty clean, it looks like....it dont have the axis shocks..but its pretty solid trade i think..

I would have kept the 400. The suspension on it was WAYYYYY better. Please tell me that the guy you traded with gave you some cash too...

If you traded quads even, then id say you got ripped off.:ermm:

both quads look really nice. I like the 400ex better though it looks better and has more mods that were really nice.

and yea the 400 had alot of money in it. i was stupid and wantded a 450r so bad for some reason.. i wish i would have kept the 400.

A 450r for a 400ex is a good deal anyday. I'd say it was a fair trade for both parties...

what do you do? it looks like you ride XC. if it was my desision. i woulda kep the ex. what all did you have done to the motor on the ex? the ex pretty much already had everything.

dont forget that a 450 is more $$ then a 400... so with that in mind even though the 450 is less modded its still holding its value, making it an equal trade

I woulda tried to keep the wheels on the 400 for the R and told him to keep his, but IMO you did a good job and you should be pumped to get wrenching on it (in a good way, not because of breakdowns lol)

the motor was port and polished and board to a 416 with shaved flywheel. it was a really strong motor nothing could beat it off the line.

isnt that bamaracers 400ex now? ive seen him post in the 400 section a couple times. only thing different is the bumper now...
but anyways, i think it was an decent trade. like madskills said i wouldve kept the axis' and gave him a couple hundred more.

anyway, that was a sweet 400. But you can never go wrong with a 450. Better in every catagory minus clutch work.......

i think it was a good trade, and it has alot of the same parts you had on your 400, so you got a headstart, atleast its not stock.
