yz426 exhaust??

Just wondering whats an good exhaust to put on a yz426 going into an ex frame... it comes with an hmf but I never liked them on my quads so idk how they will be on a bike motor.... what does it take to make the headpipe work on a 400ex frame... any suggestions?? I was thinking TC shorty!! also anyone have any for sale??

Used them several times, quality work.

Will mount to the 400ex slip on...tell him what your doing.

SS440ex your familiar with the parts I am getting... will I be able to use the headpipe coming with it and just buy a different slipon?? what do you feel about hmf?? o yea thanks for help with the shipping!!

Brain used a HMF on his...Believe it was a slip on...not 100%

I`d get his head pipe and mid pipe and go from there!

It all worked good together.

I think you`ll be happy.

I finally have all of my parts and will be sending my frame for powder next week to get this build going.... still have not found an exhaust. I have an hmf with a stock yz426headpipe and custom midpipe.... so I am guessing all I really need is a 400ex slip on?? I really like the looks of the TC shorty but I read that you need to cut like 5 1/2 inches off of your headpipe or in my case would be my midpipe.... I see these pipes on a lot of hybrids what do you guys think of them and how hard are they to make fit?? Are they really THAT loud?? thanks in advance

I checked with him the only thing is he modified the cone and we are not sure if it will work with the 400ex frame???

Yes you cut your midpipe. - yours might work. Yes they are that loud.
