125 vs z400

Well I was pretty set on a quad but I've been on bikes all my life and I'm probably faster on a bike anyways. 125's are dirt cheap too since 4-strokes are taking over the motorcross world. Which do you guys think is faster in drags, and in woods?

Plus I have enough for a 125 now

thats a pretty vauge question to ask since there are so many variables that go into making each one of them fast...

125 is faster for sure, but it all comes down to what kind of riding your looking to do. if you ride a lot of trails, i would go with the quad.

id spend some time on a quad before i made the decision...if you've ridden bikes all the time....you may like bikes way m ore than you would a quad...

you cand still get a pretty modded or even stock z for real cheap these days.......

also..why are you limiting yourself to just a 125 or a z400?....are you a smaller person? ....need reasonings

125s with some work will beat 450s. In the woods or a track it all comes down to the rider like always.

I'm 5'9" 140lbs. I think I'd have a hard time with a 250.. atleast in the woods.. I think the band would put me into the tree's a few times. I only have about 2 grand. I'm thinking about a KTM200XC though.

My buddies mildly built 2000 CR 125 would be right on my heels on my piped/cammed 450R. I would take him off the start cause of better traction, then we would stay exactly the same til I ran out of gear and he passed me.

well at least you know your limits...

ive scared the **** out of myself on a couple of 250's, my friends 250sx for example...

but everyones right, you can have some rediculousy fast 125's....

it just all depnds on your ridding style.....if you do alot of trail riding adn are comfortable with teh two stroke the 200xc is a good choice...save up a few more bucks and buy a used 250f....

ive always like quads of bikes..but i have turning issues with bikes and dirt....

you may be otherwise tho...
