Got a great deal on a used fan and a used radiator on ebay
Did you guys know that the radiator is thinner on the 525 outlaw then it is on the 500 outlaw
So I think the 500 radiator is gonna be better anyway I installed this double fan setup so far so good its pretty cold around here but did get it to turn on once

Is there enough output from the stator to handle the amperage draw to run both fans?

The stator has around 70 watts left over after charging the battery and running the stock lights. The extra fan should help but the over heating issue is caused by half the hot water being recirculated back into the cylinder and not to the radiatior like it should be. We have a new billet inline cooler system that eliminates this problem.

I actually eliminated my thermostat at one time and plugged the the line going down and it seemed to run hotter so I put it back in but I modified the thermostat by drilling hole holes around the perimeter for extra flow
Do you think I should plug the bottom hose but keep the thermostat

On my last trip to WV I ran a set of halo's mounted to my handle bars and I tried running both sets of lights and killed the battery
they were 20w apeice

I took the thermostat off of mine, plugged the bottom water hole on the engine, re-routed the hose, and it runs a noticeable bit cooler

The inline cooler is machined flat on one side so that it will clear the frame. It is also spiral cut of the inside for increased flow and heat tranfer. We have been testing this setup with great results. The kit is $75 and comes wit the billet cooler, billet lower line plug and new hose clamps.

Great product Colby. Nice to see people taking interest in Polaris atv's and giving us owners ways to make them better. You should sell these with no problem. This should work for the KTM boys also, right?

I shipped the coolers on wednesday. Make sure to bleed the cooling system of all the air.
