The truck is finished now, that was taken with my phone about 4 months ago...

I'll try to get some better ones this afternoon.

1991 F350 custom w/ the 7.3L diesel (NA). 2.5 ton military axles, SCS 4.8:1 transfer case, tube chassis... etc. The list just goes on and on...

The best part of the truck is that hydraulic winch. Its rated at 40 tons, single lined.:)

Hopefully that winch is electronically powered and not powered by the engine.

Are you running rockwells? Does it flex at all or just go in straight lines? Looks like you're running a multi link suspension under it.

you know. That purple wrangler doesnt look bad at all. My dad has a 04 TJ with 31's and thats it. I may buy it from him in a year or two and then I will be putting atleast a 4" lift on it and then letting it see some dirt which his never does :(

The only one I know specs on is the one with out the buick grill.
Its running 36" pitbull rockers, full custom exo cage, welded rear end, locked front, dual transfer cases, manual transmission, 22r motor, propane only as fuel, chevy leaves in the back, all pro toyota leaves in the front, tube doors, that is all i know of and it is street legal.

The other one the only thing i know is that it is running 37 inch iroks, 22r motor, and some other things.

I took it to boulder creek just last weekend. It's not most modified rig out there, but it does very well for what it is.

Also, while we're in reading class, the OP said "let's see YOUR trucks"....not "just post pictures of trucks"

Did you sell those trucks to your buddies or own them at one time?

What Tcases are you planning on running for your doubler? Once I do a v8 swap in my ranger I might do a 203/205 doubler for it and be set. I have a twin stick ready np205, but I'm still quite a while away from doing my v8 swap. How big is the propane tank? When gas went nuts I was throwing around the idea of running my truck on it. Chevy leaves? 63'' silverado's? haha Those will be under my ranger when I eventually put my D35/8.8 in. Was going for the D44/sterling 10.25, but the budget just doesn't allow for it. Pretty cool look rig. I'd like to SAS sometime after the v8 swap, but who knows.

Sorry for the crappy quality...

couldnt tell you what size the tank is sorry. and yea he is running 63" chevy rear leaves with custom shackles.

as far as the transfer cases i couldnt tell you what they are, because i have no clue. sorry.

a d35 up front? how big of tire are you planning on running? hardcore wheeling or just so dirt trails? unless you wanna dump big money into that 35 for chromoly axles and a bunch of other upgrade parts i wouldnt run anything over a 33 with any terrain to serious

It flexes rather well actually.

We're using 9" lift springs for an F350 superduty, and Pro-Comp Explorer 9500 series (I think) shocks.

The winch is actually hydraullicly(sp) powered by a PTO that comes out of the tranny. The truck was used as a pump hoist in its former life (dads old service truck) so its a relatively simple hookup!:)

I'm running 35''s on a mildly built D28 right now haha, so the 35 will atleast be a lot better than a 28. A D35 strength wise is not far off of a D44. I know I still run the risk of breaking shafts and U joints (trust me, I know all about it with a 28) but it's better than what under it and I got the axles for free.

nice. What axles?

Those winches are death machines! Useful, but I'd rather have an electric.

Not a half bad looking rig though? You ever run it up an RTI ramp yet?

Thank you!

We're running 2.5 ton rockwells with the U-joint style front axles.

Yea, that winch is pretty beastly. The truck it came off of got its frame pulled in two due to the incompetency of the driver...

And no, we havent ran it up an RTI ramp. Next time my old man loads her on the trailer I'll be sure to get a picture of it flexxed out.:macho

yah my brother has the 2.5 ton rockwells for his ranger. Still in the process of rebuilding them. Plan was the start putting them under his ranger this coming spring, but he's going to put another v8 in, then start the swap. Why not run coils though? There is a heavy truck/military truck yard locally here, so that's where he got his. He's trying to track down another front axle and possibly do 4 wheel steer, but you have to buy another rock ram for that and as you probably know, they aren't cheap. Are they toploaders or sideloaders? We started the process of mocking up an exo cage and getting some measurements, but nothing major. The plans are to enter it yearly into top truck challenge once it's done until it gets accepted.

When we brought those things home, they suck to move. We had to move the one about a foot (didn't really feel like getting the lift back out) so my brother and I moved it. I thought I was going to pop a blood vessel in my head, blow a nut apart, and have my arms pull out of their sockets moving that thing.

Yea, those front and rear ends weigh a chit load!:chinese:

We use his new pump hoist for all of our heavy lifting. You cant beat having a mobile crane at your disposal 24/7:macho

Ours are toploaders (i thought they all were:confused: )

We're using 9 inch lift springs (coils) for an F350 superduty, in conjunction with the Pro-comp shocks (to keep it from bouncing like a ball).

The truck has a VERY floaty feeling, like your driving on the ocean or something.. its a very cool experience riding in it.

no there are side loader rockwells as well. Some day when the rockwells are done in his ranger it'll be sweet.
