key relocation??

i'm gonna be putting a aftermarket 250r hood on my 2000 400ex and want to know what i should do about the neutral light and key?? they are gonna have to be moved and i am not sure how this should be done?? is there some relocation kit or something?? if someone has on or has moved the key can i see some pictures maybe?? here is the hood i'm getting.

I have seen the neutral light and key relocated to the side of the fender....itried a search and could not find the thread....sorry couldnt be better help but i have seen pics of people on here that have done it.

If you have 1 1/8" bars or planning on gettin em you could go with the trail tech setup which all the ones i've seen are very nice looking but kinda expensive. I just cut a one inch hole in mine on the left side fender and stuck it in, if its exactly one inch it'll fit perfect because there's a clip on the back of the ignition switch to hold it in. I have a hood on my '00 and I made a bracket that looked exactly like this. This was made by pipeless416 and it is his picture. I do not remeber the exact dimensions of the holes, but you also need to notch the key hole.

Make it out of aluminum.

This is why i went with the trail tech setup and 1 1/8 bars...ease of relocation and added the extra hole for reverse,neutral and ignition pretty much in stock locations....
