help me please

i just got a quad in pieces and finished putting it together. i took it for a ride and when ever i punch the gas in goes then starts to bog down and wont hit the power band its a two stroke i cant figure out whats wrong with it any ideas????

sounds like carb/throttle/air intake/fuel issues. Probably easiest would be jetting

could it be that one of the screws got turned out to far......my friend touched one to try and make it idle....

possible but more likely it sounds like something is blocked.


Make sure the header pipe and silencer isn't stopped up. You may even want to try it with the silencer off.

Make sure the air filter is clean and everything is flowing the way it should.

Could also be the read valves. If it has been setting then the may not be opening or closing all the way.
