My cousin had one. It was nicer than what I thought. Pretty roomy and would haul all the stuff to the track. One day out of the blue the tranny just decided to die though.

Stay away from that thing. We had the same model but with the smallest V-8. We had it about 2 years. Upper and lower ball joints, heater core, and the great 13.5 MPG. I was my first and last Dodge product.

Yep. Front ends on Dodges aren't the best. We just had ours replaced last month. Not really a big issue, just an annoyance really.

Other than that, I love driving it. Very roomy like KXRida said and can tow well too. My parents used it to tow an enclosed with 3 Ultra classic harleys in it down to Daytona and had no problems. We have the smaller 5.2L engine also. Gas milage isn't great but for an suv what can you expect?

The 5.2's are known for throwing rods and I've personally seen it happen twice with people I know already.

The 5.9 is a much better engine. The 5.2 isn't bad, but be easy on it.

Typical dodge front ends. We dealt with em though.

The 1500 we had had the transmission replaced at 60k and had 159,000 miles when we sold it, still working fine.
