300 ex kill switch

i have 2001 300ex
i need to install a cord kill switch. which i have the only problem is the only idk where to hookup the wire there is a black and white wires. any help would be great.

one on the frame.
the other one you have to take the insulation off the wire that goes from the coil to the cdi, dont cut it simply remove the insulation solder the other one there and tape it up. should work fine that how i connected mine and works quite well. i dont think it matters which on you put where because mine had 2 blacks

hook one up to the ground, the black wire, hook the white wire upto I think its a blue wire with yellow tracer on it. its a pulse generator wire.

your new switch should have 2 wires coming from it, one black and one white or maybe red.
the black is ground, hook this wire up to a bolt on the chassis somewhere. that will ground it.
the other wire off the switch, needs hooked up to a blue wire with a yellow line on it from the quads harness. I think its near the left side of the quad when sitting on it, take off the rear fenders to find it.

there is no blue and yellow wire. its just blue and do i just splices it in?

the blue wire probably has a light yellow line on it.
yes just splice into it
