Okay, new question for me on the crank. Now that I have everything ordered after the rod bearing and crank bearing went out. Man what a mess.
Any suggestions or tips on getting the crank into the left case. It says in the manual to use a puller to pull and seat the crank into the bearing. I do not have this puller and I am sure somebody or all of you that have replaced these cranks have a suggestion.

Thanks.

Do you mind me asking, what crank you are using?

I've herd of people putting the bearing in the freezer and heating the seat in the case. Then it should fall right in.

A block of wood and a hammer or the handle of a hammer, as long as it's wood. Never bang on the flywheel side unless you have the protective piece from the flywheel puller screwed on.

Put the crank into the freezer for the night, and then set the case half in front of something really hot, I like to use the portable ceramic heaters. Be careful they will get real hot. Then they should almost fall together, if not a block of wood and a mallet should do the trick!
