Took the old plug out, it was running rich. In noticed on one side of the porcelain there was a dark spot. I didn’t think too much of it since I had made so many changes in the past month to bike. So I put the new plug in, go ride, and inspect the new plug.
You can see that its developed the same dark spot. The rest of the porcelain has a light brown tint to it. looks like its burning just fine, but on one spot on the side of the porcelain its got the dark spot again. Almost looks like you could have touched the end of greasy q-tip to it. that’s how defined it is. here’s a crappy cell phone pic.
Anyone have thoughts what it could be? The bike is running great, FYI.
