Can you guys post a pic of your anti-vibe stems?

I need a pic of the bottom of the stem.

I bought a brand new anti-vibe a long time ago and thought it was for a 450R, but it turns out it is not. I think it is a 250R stem based on what I and my bro (danhung11) can visually see.

Thanks in advance.

Post a pic of it...someone will be able to distinguish the bottom of it or at least match it with what a R stem looks like.

I think it is - I have only built two and parted one. :o I have had a 400EX and a 450R so, can't remember for sure. It has a female bottom and do not recall. This would be easier than me unbolting the tie rods ends and stem.

No worries Dave... Rob can help you. If not others. ;)

I got a houser stem out of a parts bike (400ex) and the bottom of the stem is weird. Instead of the stem ending with the threads that goes through the stem bearing, there is a bolt which threads into the stem from underneath. The weird think is i currently run a houser stem in my 400ex and 250r, and the stem is the "normal" way. Maybe its from a different bike? I myself have been trying to figure out where this oddball mount came from.

I'll try and get a pic up of mine and maybe someone knows something i dont.

I have never seen a 250R stem that was a female thread on bottom.

I used to run a Houser or Laeger anti-vibe stem (cant remember which) and mine had a female end on it

thats the difference between stock and aftermarket FNPT threads are easier to get right than a NPT stud welded on ;)

my leager protrax had threads instead so that you can use it on narrow frame...

Mine also had the female end. I'm not sure the brand, but I used a black anodized DIA-COMP washer from an AHEAD-SET upside down for a washer, and it fit perfectly and looked trick.

Attached are some pics of the bottom of the stem. I figured this would be easier than dissambling my entire front end.

Thanks in advance! It's brand new stock length stem. I am unsure of manufacturer, it is chromoloy and is heavy duty anti-vibe. It's for sale.
