New idea for old plastic

I had some ratty old race plastics in the shop and had a hair brained idea. I've seen the street bike guys do it and figured what the hey. What do you guys think??

keep in mind i'm running it on the ice with the fur so there won't be an issue of dirt and mud. total cost was about $35 with the material, spray adhesive and a 12er of Sparks!
