Weird idle on 07 250ex

Hey guys,

I got a weird idle situation going on with my fiance's 07 250ex. The bike only has a uni filter with nothing else. What is happening is when it cold of has been sitting for a while (hour or two) after rides it wont idle and have to adjust the throttle stop just to get it to idle. Once it warms up and during the ride the idle will rise and stay high and then i have to readjust it down. I havent done anything to the carb and replaced the uni filter with the stock filter (both fresh and clean) and same thing happened. Im thinking theres some crap in the carb but want to get your opinion first. Thanks in advance

My 2002 acts very simularily, except once warm the idle is OK for most of the day. I adjust the throttle stop for warm idle only. I have a Unifilter as the only mod. I have never adjusted the mixture screw.

I should have mentioned that because my fuel filter fell apart, I know my fuel system is clean, having had to clean it from the tank thru the carb.
