i've always wanted to know the reason for no nets also? and why desert racers dont put nurfs on at all? screw that. i WON'T ride a bike without them!

I just got it at a local hardware store and cut it
to size.
didn't want my boots rubbing off that nice powder,
I tried a clear tape but it didn't want to stick

If you're 5'3" like me, you use nets because I can't touch the ground sitting on the quad. LOL

I guess you are talking about this one. It went to the scrap heap a long time ago:p After I destroyed the second powdercoated frame, I decided to leave the frame on any of my new quads alone and worry about going fast instead of looking good:p

I ride mx & xc, my 07er needs nerfs - my 04 has ac's & they suck. I think I'm gonna leave the plastic heal guards on. So I'm looking to find a nice set of nerfs & need bigger foot pegs. What do you recommend? Rath looked good.

I didn't like them. They were too short and narrow for my liking. They are labeled a 20" tire, but I think they are a little shorter. They didn't last very long either.

Thanks for the compliments - I've still got the frame, but the front half is bent into a pretzel:p

the boys 14 & hill run the 250. He rides the 450 @ BPG. So not to sure what class he'll run. I think he likes the 250 class because he'd be more competitive. w/ the 450 he'd not run up front - me I'm a 47 yr old guy - so I'd run the ole man class on the 450

The goki kit cost me $800, I have only ran the bike 2 times since install, it adds 20lbs, but starts at the push of a button not sure if it was worth it.

sorry, forgot the mods.. shes an 06 er, yzf needle, leak jet, bigger main jet, no airbox lid, green wire cut, uni filter, 04 full curtis sparks, +2 burgards, 05 spindles, +3 axle, razr 2's all around, breathes cam2 fuel, motor is stock, susp. is stock, but currently undergoing an overhaul ;-) ill post when done, plus she's got alot of custom tlc, and bolt on's of course... got some video in action www.myspace.com/shiftx450 check it out! you can hear her purr in the cliff video...

I have the same ones, work amazing. His nerfs stick out about an inch farther than the rear tire so it doesnt hit trees.
