Has anyone installed a hot rods std. bore crank for a 06 450r?
If so, is the small end of the rod where the piston pin goes susposed to have the oil holes on it? Just asking cause i recieved mine and it doesent have the oil holes! Wanna make sure this is right. Any info is appericated.

from what I have read, quite a few engine builders will not install a HR crank without the costomer having it trued and ballanced..this could be the reason no one has a reply..People SHY AWAYfrom what they read on the net..
My best advice would be to call HR..

Another reason to shy away from what you read on the net. Hot Rod cranks work fine for the price. I use them all the time. Shure there are better ones out there for 2-3 times the price.
I don't have an 06 TRX in stock, so I couldn't answer your question. I would also call Hot Rods to verify.
