need help

ok i was riding my 400ex a couple days ago and i went to **** gears and when i let go of the clutch lever it like felt like it snapped so i got off to look at it and the clutch cable was good it didnt snap.i was wounderin if any one knows wats wrong it does not work no more and very loose

sounds like you broke this part : 22847-HN1-010 PIN, CLUTCH LIFTER. it's a $10 part I have replaced several of these for people.

i had this happen to me...the is a little part inside the clutch cover that broke. it is about a $10 part. if you go to an online micro fiche such as service honda.com and choose to see "clutch. on there it is part # 10. it is an easy fix.
