Well, I think this is a open question. It depends on if you are a Honda or a Suzuki guy. Kinda like Ford vs Chevy, everybody is different. To me, I like the way a Honda handles vs the Suzuki. Also there is a lot of more parts out there too. I'm pretty sure like you said, this will prob. get a little "heated".

yes ford v chevy they both have there muscle cars camaro and mustang. No matter what, one is better all around and one is better at something else that the other isnt. I'm mostly looking for what one does better at what and so on......... fact or opinion feed back is always good

I'll tell you the setup... ;)

get a nice TRX chassis and put a LT500 motor all done up by Doc q in it.....

the TRX chasis is awesome IMO, and Doc can make the zilla motor with insane power and superior reliability... check my sig... I know what I speak of :)

Hybrids aside, LT250R vs TRX250R should never turn into a heated debate. There is no debate.

Ill tell you this, i grew up on honda and had my racer for 3 years (just sold it last week, now im redoing a trx frame up) and it had some glue but....i could never get the rear on the quadracer dialed with its "full floater" suspension. That rear shock pivoted the other way always bothered me.

If your lookin at buying a racer dont even look at anything older than 87, no powervalve.

And the aftermarket part availability for the trx is very true.

i'm a suzuki guy so i'm kind of biased, but it really depends on what kind of racing u are doing....
mx the trx is better, but for flattracking the lt is better.

i had a 92 lt250r that i used to mx, and i will be honest, in the rough stuff, it was a handful. i did like the ergos of it and felt it jumped well, but running down a rough straightaway really beat u up.

i just sold my full laegers trx250r, and that thing could turn on a dime, really soak up the rough, and fly well also.

i finally met the 2 in the middle and have a laegers/jp outlaw lt250/500....

IMO the LT doesnt turn worth a chit, well its better than a banshee but not much, anyway, not sure how that would make the LT a good TT setup....

Brian, thats funny. Im working to buy or build a Laeger TRX :D

at this age of the bikes, the trx is a better bet.

Many more builders work with 250r's. You can make either one faster, that just depends on how deep your pockets are. It is much harder to find parts for the LT.

I'm going ot go with the TRX250r. there are so many parts for it, its still considered the best handling quad, so many years of it being out on top and it deffinately looks better.
