Tina, I think you mistakenly posted your ? in the LT250R forum. The one for the LT-R450 is different to go around the exhaust. I got mine off ebay, can't remember now what brand. And you have to remove the rear light when putting the number bracket on... Although if you wanna leave the light on, I believe someone makes a diff type braket for doing that. Anywho... Check on ebay, lots of bracket/ number plate combos on there. And of course check seller feedback rating before ordering. ;)

i took a broken bracket off an AC grab bar, few cuts, some drilling and i was able to bolt it up right behind where the tail light used to be.

No prob! And someone else posted HEP having one. That jogged my 2 brain cells and reminded me that is the one I got for my 450. Just make sure to tighten and use lock-tite on the bolts holding the number plate on. I forgot, and lost the plate on my first ride! Other than that, which was my fault, very happy with that brand plate holder.

btw... aren't you proud that I didn't make any blond jokes?! :D :blah: take care hun

The one that I use is something I actually made out of a sheet of aluminum and bolted on to the stock grab bar. Sorry to say, this is the only half decent picture of it that I have. :ermm:

Is there a reason why the brackets are so WIDE?? I think thats what I dont like about the looks on everything I have seen so far.

wide as in the peices that go down?

It has to be wide for strength, if it were any skinnier it would be weak and flimsy.

IF they are made with something thick and the design was abit more narrow they would be fine ...something like an L bracket design I guess. The ones Ive looked at are really wide looking.
I dunno, I just dont like what Ive seen so far. They just look funny to me .lol
I seen one on Ebay that wasnt too bad.

I guess the wideness is just to make sure it clears the pipe... If you know someone good with metal i'm sure you could easily have one made for cheap and the way you want it.
