chain pitch

can anyone tell me which chain pitch i should use? the 400ex rear axle and sprocket are 520 pitch and the engine will be 428 so which one is easiest to change and with what.
i never thought of this till 2 night so any help would great

the honda sprocket bolt pattern is the same on both so the 90 sprocket will work on the 400 hub
