anyone used the XR400 head gasket on a 400ex. if so, did you notice any gain by the increased compression. also, i am not familar with the internals of the engine so how hard is it to install this gasket? what needs to be removed to replace the gasket? thanks

does anybody know if the XR gasket will handle 11.1:1 compression w/o a problem or is it not a strong enough gasket? and what is good if the xr one isn't? i want to get high compression but not blow gaskets.

I got one delivered with my HRC racing kit . ( cam , 11:1 piston , outer clutch basket , etc ) .And IF HONDA RACING COMPANY delivers it with a XR gasket , it means something .

I raced a whole seazon with no probs at all ..
