What to look for when buying?

Whats up guys, Im looking at picking up an 03 C dale speed 440. What are some of the things I should look for? I have been looking at one in particular and asked the owner if he is having any issues with the quad, he says the only issue that he has had is that it sputters when shifting into 5th. Does this sound like anything bad or could it be something as simple as a dirty air filter? Any help that you can provide is appreciated. Also, this is the one I am looking at

look on cannondaleriders for all the information you need I think its a little high on the price 2500 max and you need to make sure it has cradle bolt update and make sure it has the z400 bearing update if the seller us unsure would start your negotiations about 2k that is all I would give anyway. you can buy updated ones for less that 2k all day long
