Broke Engine Mount?(PIC)

The rear mount in the pic broke where the bolt goes in. Any ideas on how to fix this? It doesn't really look weldable. I has been welded before.

You mean nobody has had to fix this?????

It's not a very closeup pic
but if you don't weld take
it to a welder and he will
know how to fix
(a good welder that is )

that guys doesnt even say its broken in his ebay post...... If it is really broken I would spend another $20-$30 on one from him thats 100%right

I'm just using that pic to show which mount it is. Thats all. If you are familiar with a 300ex you know what it looks like up close.

Yes but it is hard to tell how it is broke and exactly what needs to be done to fix it, you need to pull the motor so do that and take better pics and we can better help you. It might be better to get the section that bad from another frame and weld the whole section in.

I've got the whole quad tore apart. here is a close pic. The mount hole is broke in half.

What if you took a thick washer on the outside and welded that to it, then you would have the complete hole again. But use a thick washer, you should still have enough of your bolt sticking out the other side.
