Yosh Pipe Jetting

Just picked up an 03 400ex so I got a full yosh pipe for it.

Any ideas on jetting? Quad is all stock and I'm around sea level with no air box lid.

Also is there a difference in the 99-03 and the 04-08? I looked at HMF site for a reference and there is a huge difference listed for the year models.

I have a '00 and a full yoshimura too. I also have a k&N and no lid. I'm running 170, but I am in Ohio... It seems fine. I don't know what the needle is at because the previous owner stripped the screws. I would start somewhere near 170 and see how it runs.

170 is WAYYY too fat.


Start with a 40 pilot and a 158 main.

i have a 01 with the full yosh rs-3 and i called yosh directly and you can tell them what your running and theyll tell you a good jet setup they told me to run 160 main and everything else stock and it runs great idles nice throttle response is nice so i cant complain
