300ex cutting out

hey guys i have a 1998 300ex
mods are web cam, rev box, clean up port, full yosi pipe

i bought it like this and it was not jetted correctly so i did that but it still cuts out alittle when im at 1/2 to full throttle but only when i mash the gas. if i roll into it nice and easy its fine, does anybody know whats would cause this? could it be the needle jet in the carb needs to be adjusted? like maybe a clip down on the needle?

jetting is trial and error so its hard to say for sure but mine was doing the same thing after I rejetted and moving the clip down helped but i also had to readjust the fuel screw after.
