Ok need some help with this hybrid. Not real familiar it. Can any one tell me alil bit about what parts off of what quads are used on it.

If anyone could help me it would be appreciated before I start tearing it down. Just from reading the forums I have come to the conclusion that the suspension is the 400ex. Body is the 250R and has the Yamaha yz426.

Just from what I was told from who i got it from the frame, control arms and swingarm are all houser.

For those of you who think Im idiot this is not my first quad. This was to good of a deal to pass up. Whether or not I know every thing about it.

Hi, my name is Chris Robinson and I was the original builder/owner of that quad. If you have any questions about it give me a call at 409.646.4547

You spent probably close to $5000 on a quad and didn't know what you bought?

you went by what he told you. always research hybrids. the houser frame should have a marking by the upper shock mounts (correct me if im wrong) and the aarms do look like hosuers. He could have a stock frame converted hybrid and say its all houser. you shelld out 5 k when maybe you should have only shelled out 4k is the point

cool from the looks of it, your frt spindles and brakes are from a 400ex but not sure what the rear would b. could possibly be a 400ex or 250r. i could tell by looking @ the rear brake caliper.

Havent taken any. But it looks as if someone cut it out and refabbed a new piece there. Why?

More than likely if the stationary headstay mounts were refabed, it was to make a removable headstay mount so you could pull the top end of the engine off without having to pull the entire engine.

Thank you
