What is the length from eye-to-eye on the 250r rear shock.
The back end of my quad seems to sit too low.
I think that I may have a shock for TT racing.

What year shock? What year link? This will determine ride height.
86 is the longest shock, 87 is shorter, 88-89 is shorter yet. If you have a newer shock and an 86 length dog bone link, this will lower the quad considerably. The dog bone for an 87-89 is shorter than the 86, this compensates for the shorter shock length.

I see. Well I have a 88 frame. The swinger an 88 length +2. I got a dog bone from one of the race shops. It may be for a 86 model.
The shock is aftermarket. I'm not sure what year length it is.
Does anybody know what length the shock and dog bone is supposed to be for an 88 model???

Well I just bought a Durablue adjustable linkage for the dog bone. I should be o.k. now.

It's a Durablue and says it fits all years from 86-89.

there is actually a different part number for each. one for the '86(das-4h) and one for the '87-'89(das-7h).

I just got the linkage in.
The total length at it's shortest is just a hair over 7 1/4 inches.
Could anyone tell me which year 250r this is for?

I was scanning another post and I found out that I have the 87-89 druablue linkage.
So let me get this straight before I tear in to my bike.
The shorter the dog bone linkage, the lower the bike will be????

So I just got finished putting on the new linkage.
I also needed to adjust my shock by a lot. Everything is golden now.
