mine seems to start better. when i turn the key. let the pump prime. so before the start have the key turned. they when you line up. nistead of turn it off. stall it out with the clutch. thats what i do and for some reason it seems to start faster.

A lot of our customers race XC with dead engine starts. We adjust the TPS voltage and the idle up slightly and the KFX starts a lot faster.

oh thats another thing ^^ reminded me of. starting on HIGH idle starts ALOOTTTT faster.

i just pull the knob out to put it in fast idle and it starts faster that way. then whenever you can during the race you can just click it down. or wouldnt eve need to though. unless it changes the map slightly? but im 99 percent sure it doesnt.

You can also put a more powerful battery on it. The batteries don't seem to be strong enough to give it that quick start they need. I've heard of some people putting on the 450R batteries in place of the stock one. I might be wrong on the exact style bike but pretty sure its the Honda 450R!!

Or you can try the other things that people have mentioned above!!

Luckily my races are live engine for the most part!! But never had a problem with mine firing up right as I hit the button!!

the only problem with the kick starter is i dont have enough behind me get it to kick over very fast. i will have to look into the more powerful battery. thankyou again
