Flooded?

I Installed my new airbox and rear skid plate yesterday, and now my quad won't start, could it be flooded from standing it up to put on the plate, It's like it isn't getting any fire,just turning over, It will fire about once every 10 tries and I'm smelling a lot of gas. I was going to pull the plug but I can't get a socket on it.

if you didnt turn the gas of first it probably is flooded. There should be aplug wrench in your toolbox that will fit the spark plug.

turn your gas off and drain the float bowl. Then try again like it was cold. If that doesn'y work, take teh plug out and let it turn over a few times. It'll blow the old gas out. Good luck.

Thanks guy, I remembered the plug wrench about 5 minutes after i started this thread, DOH! I pulled the plug and cleaned it and first try it fired up. Thanks guys.:macho
