Hope to fire it tonight it was to late last night. But I cut the exhaust apart last night gutted it and welded back together. I love cheap horsepower took out like 8 lbs of weight. I hope it works if not CT in the future.

Oh yeah I gutted the pig! I cut the back tube off removed all the inards 2 1" diam tubes about 10" long and the two disks that connect the pipes together. Started it sound good but will have to mess with the jetting. It is the 450 with a 525 jug snd is currently jetted w 150main and fmf needle on the 3rd clip also had to increase the pilot to 100 from the stock 40. I have never had it perfect but so far before the exaust mod this has worked the best. O yeah also dit the cut out mod to the airbox!

Is it loud now? What tip do you have on the end of it?

By the way does can anybody recomend one of those billet ends for the stock exhaust on Ebay.

They all seem to be basically the same.

I am thinking of gutting my exhaust and putting on an end. or skip the gutting and just put on an end piece. Not sure? suggestions?

I had one of those endcaps prior to my HMF and it worked well. It really opens up he end and allows for a much larger exit hole. It has to flow more air but I have no proof of that!

This is the best pic I had. I had to blow it up a little so clarity is shot....

A friend of mine bought one of those billet tips for his Outlaw 500 and it made a considerable difference through out the powerband. Sounded much better too without being overly loud. I don't think the new Outlaws have the removable end caps...

07's have the removable end cap. Got a new one on order.

I got a billet end cap for mine, and was unable to put it on. short version: the factory welds for the welded in nuts were not true, and because the billet is much thicker than the factory cap, the crooked bolts would not go in. I hope other people have much better luck. EHS said he had quit a few like mine.

So I just got my new end cap put on and it sounds awesome. I love it. I re-jetted with the blue needle and a 165 main. Will have to see how it works once I fix my clutch.
