porting?

I know im gunna be hated on this but. iv ported a single cylinder snowblower with much secsess so how much harder could a 300ex be? nothing crazy just alil bit smoother intake and same on exhaust. thanks for any ideas. cant offord a pro job. thanks of and if u think this just straight up stupid dont take a dump in here just say thts a bad idea.

If you're even thinking about it, then I assume you've done a little research. You obvously know there are risks, that you could ruin it.

With that aside, I'll say this. A professional job will generally yeild professional results. But a mild, safe, amateur port job will probably give you just that, mild, safe, amateur results.

Is 1 or 2 horsepower really worth all that effort and risk?
