i have an 07 dvx400. i am planning on putting a full ct exhaust, yfz450 carb, twin air air filter, 400ex intake boot, and taking off the airbox. i seen the outerwear airbox covers and i was wondering how water resistant they really are.
i want to play in the woods and hopefully do some gncc races next year. i dont know if i need to leave the lid on or put the outerwear on it. i want the power of the lid off.

They are very water resistant when new. I held mine under a faucet and no water got through. Been running my EHS lid for 5 years.

i took my outerwears lid back...didnt like the way they installed on the air box i could have done some modifications to make it work right but felt it wasnt worth it
