help please?300ex

has abybody ever tried putting a different make grab bar on a trx300ex?please let me know?
i cant find a cheap 300ex wide grab bar anywhere!
if any of you guys could find out the width of the back of a frame of a 450r or a 250r where the grab bar mounts!please tell me!
im thinking of buying a 450r grab bar and mounting it on my 300ex?

prm makes 2 different wide grab bars for the 300ex. theyre both under $60 and good quality. www.prm-atv.com

do they hold the taillight?

it should. i have a desert grab bar on my YFZ and it has mounts for the tail light as well as a whip mount just like the stocker.

yeah i love mine form prm. an yes it holds the stock taillight

did it stick out much more than the stock grab bar?
can i buy the grab bars straight off prm?

prm has 3 different types for the 300ex. Ones like stock, ones wider like i got, then the biggest one is really wide. mine sticks out roughly where the stocker did. but yeah i got mine from prm, might be able to get a cheaper one off ebay or another website...search around.
